Catherine Barnett is the author of two collections of poetry, The Game of Boxes (forthcoming from Graywolf Press, 2012) and Into Perfect Spheres Such Holes Are Pierced (Alice James Books, 2004). She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Whiting Writers Award, the Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers, and a Pushcart Prize.
She is teaching the 2012 Emerging Poets Residency workshop at Poets House.
She is an adjunct associate professor at Barnard College, an adjunct instructor at New York University, and teaches at The New School.
